PENNA POWERS BRIAN HAYNES HONORED FOR EXCEPTIONAL RESULTS AT 2009 GOLDEN SPIKE AWARDS LUNCHEON
SALT LAKE CITY, Nov. 18, 2009--Penna Powers Brian Haynes (PPBH, www.ppbh.com) was recognized today at the annual Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Golden Spike Awards ceremony in South Jordan. The Golden Spike Awards competition recognizes creativity of ideas, excellence in execution, campaign research and client results.
PPBH won three gold awards, the highest honor, for the following clients and projects:
- Legacy Parkway grand opening event
- Zero Fatalities Public Roads magazine article
- Archery Trade Association Technical Guidelines illustrations
PPBH also received finalist recognition for the following:
- 2008 PPBH Christmas card
- Access Utah County project illustrations
The Utah chapters of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) and International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) sponsor the annual competition. Members of the Minnesota chapter of the Public Relations Society of America adjudicated the entries. The panel members are seasoned professionals who also judge the national PRSA competition, the Silver Anvil Awards. Judging is not based solely on creativity of ideas and excellence in execution, but also on the research behind the campaigns and especially the results garnered for the client.
