NOVARAD
NovaRad, a developer of radiology technologies, was flying under the radar, but due to the federal HIPPA compliance mandate, suddenly found itself in competition with numerous companies that were jumping into the market with picture archiving communications systems (PACS) themselves. To help increase its marketshare, it hired PPBH to initiate an aggressive media relations effort that included re-introducing NovaRad at an industry tradeshow and contributing content and expert interviews to the top radiology publications.
The media relations effort has resulted in strong brand equity and awareness for NovaRad and has helped the company's sales team by educating prospects about NovaRad's technology offerings. PPBH is continuing to garner consistent coverage for NovaRad and as a result of the public relations, NovaRad is consistently outselling the competition 10 to 1 with more than 600 installations worldwide.
