Since founding PPBH in 1984, Chuck has been at the heart of PPBH’s award-winning strategic, consumer and business-to-business work, especially with clients such as Sun Valley Resort, Little America and Grand America Hotels, SnowBasin, Easton Sports, KJZZ TV, United States Ski Team and the Salt Lake Olympic Organizing Committee (SLOC). Chuck is one of the creatives responsible for establishing Utah advertising as work equal anywhere in America. The New York Art Directors Club, print and graphics magazines have recognized Chuck’s creative campaigns.

John has built his reputation on his ability to maximize clients’ budgets to increase return on investment. As the architect of campaign strategy, John has helped PPBH clients achieve their communication and marketing goals for more than 20 years. John’s career developed at some of advertising’s biggest agencies where he guided national brands such as Lever Bros., Campbell’s Soup, Johnson & Johnson and Avis Rent-A-Car. John’s current projects include Downtown Rising and City Creek Center, the downtown development of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Mike Brian, Partner Interactive Director

Mike’s strengths lie in his ability to fuse traditional marketing with interactive tools.  As a pioneer in the evolution of interactive marketing, Mike developed the strategy behind the redesign of UDOT’s website (awarded Best State Government Website) as well as the Olympic transportation website.  Mike specializes in helping clients find their niche in the technical battlefield of their industries.  Mike has also directed interactive strategies for Ski Utah!, JPMorgan Chase, Sun Valley Resort and Downtown Rising.

Dave Smith has helped shape public perception in a variety of industries including public service, transportation, healthcare, sports, law enforcement, development, high-tech and education. Dave is one of few Utahns with professional accreditation from the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) and a prestigious international PRSA Silver Anvil Award for the Olympic Transportation “Know Before You Go” campaign. Dave currently leads the strategic public involvement efforts for some of UDOT biggest projects, including I-15 CORE, Mountain View Corridor and the new Travel Demand Management Program.
